Right, ive been having a go at overclocking this. Whats the best way of stability testing this? What programs can i use? I have ATITool, but Vista wont let it play. No signed drivers. Ive been running the Scan For Artifacts, and my GPU temps go up to 81Degrees (GPU@621mhz, RAM@918mhz). So its obviously loading it. Whats the safe temps etc? Any pointers? There isnt a graphics card overclocking stickied . . .

Well, I cant use Rivatuner - No signed drivers, I cant use ATI Tool, no signed drivers, and ntune doesnt keep my overclock in its settings. Grrrrr.

Which drivers are you using ?.
For a start don't have ntune installed and try and use other apps it messes it all up.
Remove ntune it's complete trash anyway.

so far my gts 320 goes to 655 and 975

i have cut off the bottom plastic section of the cooler and purchased a blower(sucker actually) which matches up very nicely to the now exposed heat sink section.

temps are 47idle and 60-66load maybe upto 70 on a hot day

oh, also i have reapplied some zalman paste which knocked off 3 degrees

good luck.

Yeah I know what your saying about the paste what the hell do apply it with a toothpaste tube???

You could water cool it mine sits at 40c idle and 42c load.

i use ntune in vista 64 bit, and your right it doesnt keep your settings, but you can save a custom profile, and just load it when you want to play games etc.. thats what i do.. takes 2 seconds once its booted up.

mines oc'd to 625 / 850 but it works fine at 650 / 900 too, just i dont really need to push it to the max, as a casual gamer.

under load oc'd im sitting at 69 - 72 degrees but i have a 120mm fan slap bang next to it in the case.

Ive tried this with my vista x64 and ntune, i can overclock and adjust the fan speeds.
Ive saved away a new profile but when I load a profile up it doesnt change any of the settings, overclock and fan speeds stay the same. Ive checked and the profile is saved away with the new settings but it just doesnt do anything when i load it back up?

if you start vista and spam f6/f8 canyt rmember wich to get up the options menu that aloows you to boot in safe mode etc from there you can turn off only signed drivers if memory serves me correctly so this may help
