Overclocking an amd piledriver 6300 ?

OK so I'm thinking of trying out some overclocking on my 6300...but i have no idea how to go about doing this ...so some help and advice would be much appreciated thanx

Pre-overclocking step - download CPU-Z and take a note of the voltages it's reporting, especially when you're doing something CPU intensive (e.g. AIDA64).

The first thing to do is pretty easy. Just go into the BIOS and raise the multiplier to give you 4.0GHz. The base clock is 200MHz, so you'll need a multiplier of 20x.
