hey everyone, ive recently decided against upgrading to an intel core 2 duo cpu to stick with my reliable and quick amd x2 4400.
its got the stock cooler on at the moment, but i will very shortly be ordering an eclipse 62 case....just wondered what case fans and cpu fans would be recommended? i would like to keep the case as quiet as possible but also try to overclock my cpu.

which brings me on to my second question....how far could i push my 4400?
and how would i go about doing it....

See my sig, using a Ninja, overclocking to 2.7ghz, but had to increase vcore. Basically reduce memory FSB and HTT. Now increase CPU FSB until it becomes unstable. Either reduce it back down, or increase vcore. I run it at 245x11, 166mhz memory divider, 600mhz htt.

Akasa Ambers with that case will work ok.

Cool, when i get home tonight i'll read the guide on this forum and read around on the net to see what i can pick up....

are the akasa amber fans quiet? or are there quieter but still cooling fans?
i'm also looking at the Akasa AK-913 EVO 33 Direct HeatPipe Copper with Fan Controller (Socket 754 & 939) cpu cooler. how does that rate?

Akasa Eclipse 62 Aluminium Case - No PSU - £82.24
Akasa Eclipse 62 Window Side Panel - £15.26
Akasa AK-178-BL 12" Cold Cathode - Blue (x2) - £16.46
Titan Vanessa-L TTC-NK25TB/SC (RB) CPU Cooler - £25.84
Akasa AK-183-L2B Amber Ultra Quiet 120mm Fan (x2) - £23.38

TOTAL £163.18

I can vouch for how good the tuniq tower is! Changed from 64 pro to the tuniq on my opty 170 and its sooo cool now, and a thousand times quieter
