I recently overclocked my Q6600 to 3.35 Ghz on water cooling, I've heard of people pushing this up to 4 - 4.2 ghz and was just looking for a little advise, I've currently got it stable on:
FSB Frequency: 371
PCIE Frequency: 100
FSB Strap to NB: 333 Mhz
CPU Volt: 1.46875
FSB Termination Volt: !.40
Memory Volt: 1.90
NB Volt: 1.40
After running prime for a lengthy time the maximum temperature reached was 50C so i'm really hoping i can knock this up abit further, but when i try up the fsb a little more my system becomes unstable. I'm using an Asus P5Q SE/R
My bios is the original one the board had (was told updating the bios can cause a fry up mobo)
Many Thanks.
