Hey, I've finished overclocking my new desktop, all apart from my RAM. Ive got 4 GBS of 'Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2x1GB) DDR2 PC2-8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel Kit'. As I'm running at 400x9, I've got my ram running at 1000MHz, and am looking to tighten my timings. I've currently dropped them to 4-4-4-10 2T in the bios, and its running Prime blend test fine, but does this actually test the ram for stability? which programs should I use to do this if Prime isnt good?

Also, all I'm changing in my BIOS are the top4 options for RAM, is that correct? should I just leave the rest on AUTO? What kind of timings should I expect to get from this RAM?

Prime blend will test memory for stability among other things but for memory alone and a more stringent test then you should use 'memtest'.

I've just ran PCmark 05, and I got a lower score than having it at default timings, 5-5-5-18, is there something wrong? I compared the two tests, and I'm lagging behind with the 'webpage rendering' test, does that test require RAM? or should I ignore PCMark completely?
