overclocking beginner help

Hi All

Im looking to overclock my new PC a little bit specs:

E8400
Asus P5E
OCZ PC-6400
HD4850

at the moment i have it running at 3.5ghz with 390 fsb, i ran orthos for 30 mins with no problems, max temp seen in speed fan was CPU 56C, System 32C and in coretemp 67C

i run orthos at 3.6ghz @ 400 fsb and it failed with 1 error (was getting same max temps) after 11 mins, so i think i need to knock up the vcore to go any further.

Basically what is the max safe temperture to run a e8400 at? and whats is a max safe vcore for it ( Stock = 1.225)?

Im not too sure about the safe temps as i cant find anything to give me an accurate reading, but as for vcore ive heard that some ppl are having problems after putting 1.45v + through em, apparantly it can damage them even if u clock em back. Personally i wouldnt go higher than 1.375v
