Overclocking Capabilities

When I get my computer at Christmas, I'd like to overclock the CPU, to get the best from the Q6600.

Spec:

ASRock 4Core1333 GLan Motherboard (Know nothing about it)
Intel Quad Core 6600 @ 2.4 Ghz
4GB (2X2GB) PC6400 DDR2 Ram 800Mhz
Nvidia 512MB 9600GT
Seagate 320GB Hard-Drive @ 7200 RPM.
Arctic 7 Pro Freezer Cooler (Since I can't remember the name, that'll have to do, I'm sure you know what I mean! )

Bear in mind I haven't got any experience of overclocking. Realistically, what is the best I can get out of the CPU?

Ah well that's alright, has been playing on my mind quite a lot. Will 3.2 be enough to play games at a decent speed? I don't have Crysis or any of the newest demanding games on the market, but I might be tempted in the Christmas Sales.
