Overclocking Core i5, suggestions?

Hi there,

new to the forums and to overclocking, got a few questions. My Specs:

Core i5 750 1156
Titan NK34TZ CPU air cooler (3 heatpipes, 92mm fan)
ASUS P7P55D-M
2 x 2GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 RAM (1333)
1TB WD HDD
Sileo 500 case
2 x 120mm case fans

Firstly, why is there an option to set the QPI speed in the bios? I thought that the p55 uses DMI. Also, when tuning the RAM, am I aiming for lower clock speed but with lower (better?) latency, or higher clocks and higher (worse?) latency? If I set some RAM settings too tight, will I simply see system instability as a result?

if I raise the BCLK value, is it only the cpu and ram that will go faster, or are there other devices that use BCLK?

Any input much appreciated!
