Overclocking CPU disables PCI-E Card (MSI Motherboard)

I recently updated my BIOS software (Micro-Star International P35 Neo MS-7360 motherboard, Intel 2 Quad Q6600 Processor) to version 1.1.0.L69 (1.1A) and now whenever i attempt to change anything over clock related (except the voltage) after restarting it instantly either disables or doesn't recognize my PCI-E graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GT 430 4GB DDR3-SDRAM) and my screen turns off (although I can hear the computer booting up)

Anything in the red box causes this problem, this wasn't an issue however before i used the MSI LiveUpdate 5 to update the BIOS to 1.1A

Any suggestions on what the problem is and how it can be fixed?

Thanks!

try changing the pci-e frequency to 101

oh and welcome to the forum

Thanks :) glad to be here.

I tried changing the PCI-E Frequency to 101 and i got the same result, after saving and restarting the screen/ card would no longer register though i could hear it booting up. :(

it sounds silly, but is the card pushed down properly, and power lead/s connected?
at startup, remove side off case, is the fan turning on the card?

The card seems to respond fine, the fan is on and its properly connected. when i remove the battery to default the memory it works correctly and all boots fine, but as soon as i tweak any settings except the voltage it restarts the computer and the screen no longer starts up, only fixed by defaulting the memory again.

Did it happen before the BIOS upgrade? it could just be a bug with that particular BIOS.

It worked perfectly before, what exactly happened was i had just finished reformatting and i was installing everything again. After restart i was tweaking my BIOS settings when i found out how to overclock properly having read stuff before hand. So i tweaked it from 263 to 333 FSB not changing anything and it was all fine no errors and such.

After that i found an update from MSI for the motherboard BIOS using LiveUpdate 5, so i updated it and after the reboot it had reset my BIOS settings, i went back to put them how i have it and then the error started from there.

I have been looking for ways to restore my BIOS version back from the 1.1A it is atm but i haven't found a proper guide telling me how to.
