Overclocking CPU + GPU

with the release of BF3 i really dont want to have to spend more money on a new gpu, so i am going to overclock my cpu and gpu and if i get good results it will save me from spending money that i dont have.

i play at 1280x1000 reolution with hdmi.

will both of these do the job for overclocking a 5770 and an athlon ii x4 640?

I've got that same fan with AC MX4 paste on and an AMD Athlon II X4 635 CPU overclocked to 3.5ghz and it idles at 29C and it'll hit 54C under load.

I also have the same card, and with fan set to 100% and overclocked to 900mhz core and 1400mhz memory it'll run at 32C idle and 59C under load. I've got a 120mm case fan at the front, intake 80mm fan at the side graphics card level, and exhaust 80mm fan at the back, inline with the Akasa fan (pointing towards the exhaust fan ofcourse.
