When overclocking at stock or overclocked using prime95 make sure that the Power Options are not set to balanced with the hard drive/system not set to sleep within 25mins :(

Woke up this morning at 6.30am, saw the computer had shut down expecting the worst I hit the power button. It went into sleep mode within 25mins of me going to bed so I had only done a 3hr prime95 instead of 6hr :(

LOL Neil, yeah the window power settings are useful for winding things down just for general use, but can be a pain if you forget about them when you want your machine to run full tilt ad infinitum :p

I plan on doing prime overnight tonight, probably would have done the same if I hadn't read this ;)

but the question is... was it stable?! :p

It did a 3hr run before I went to bed and yes and also 60 loops of intel burn test at high.

:D I was like FFS it's unstable, but it wasn't lol

I did this a couple of days ago too :D

Also, you seem to be planning to sleep only 3 hours per day... I wish I had your stamina :P
