Hi guys, noob alert !!
my PC is in my sig - bought about a year ago from advice from friendly OC'ers. Been a great purchase, still loving it.

A problem though.

A few months afer getting it, I started getting a black screen when switching on - no boot. Could take me up to 30 minutes of rebooting before finally getting into windows.

Now, I solved the problem by going into BIOS and restetting to DEFAULT values - boots up every time now, but of course, no overclocking.

I can still go into the BIOS and load the OVERCLOCKER setting - but the old problem still crops up.

What I would like to do is overclock it down a bit IE between higher than 2.66 but less than 4 - see if that keeps it stable.

Can anyone advise me on what the settings would be the best to overclock it downs a bit ? (from the OVERCLOCKERS values)

Thanks !!!

Just lower the base clock frequency a bit (BCLK). OCUK will have set it to around 200, lower it down a few notches.

Alternatively you could increase the CPU Vcore up one notch to try and improve stability.

Nice one buddy, thats what I was after (theres so many options!).

Cheers !
