Having no luck @ all trying to overclock a E6600 to 3Ghz on this thing.

I upped the Volts to +10 on the RAM, Upped the Volts to 1.34 on the CPU...Using BIOS F7 at the moment and cant get it to do anything.

Everytime I set it up all it keeps doing is booting up then rebooting 3 times then going back to default settings.

Anyone give me an insight on which settings to change on this board please. A lot of difference compared to my Asus P5B Deluxe which went to 3.6Ghz no trouble @ all.

check you have the ram voltage set right, +10 seems high, it should be + 0.3v, reset the bios to defaults and set the fsb to 333 and the ram divider to 2.0

What ram are you using?

Try setting it at the default voltage, Normal is 1.8v.

You will need to up your cpu voltage, try 1.4v

Have a look at some of the setting in This thread...

What cpu multi are you using? I have the same motherboard and when I try to set cpu multi of 7 I get the boot cycle, just a thought (I have an E4500)

Using 4x1gb Geil 6400 Ultra

Ok I looked @ that site...got it to boot up ok @ 3Ghz.

Now Vista won't boot up keeps telling me I've made a hardware change...I know that.

Is there anyway of getting any further than Vista giving me this error?

Thanks for the help upto now been much easier.
