Ok here's my setup:

Core2Duo E2200 2.2ghz (200x11)
Giga-byte P35C-DS3R rev2.1 F10 Bios
4GB (2x2G) OCZ PC6400 5-6-6-18 (1.9-2.1v)

Ive followed the instructions on the Gigabyte DS3 sticky in the motherboard board regarding settings in BIOS to overclock and no matter what I try I cannot get it stable at all and it only seems happy when everything is set to what it should be.

I have to admit it is my 1st attempt at overclocking so it is probably me doing something wrong but i'd really appreciate some help trying to get towards the 3ghz mark.

If anyone could suggest some settings for me to try out id really appreciate it.

Its always best to start off with the cpu overclock. So first off set ram divider to 2, to lower the ram speed. I'd start of by increasing the voltage to the core to about 1.4, then upping the fsb until it fails in stress test. then up the voltage a little more till its stable again. just keep following this till your happy that its stable and temps aren't to high.

I managed to get 300x11 out of my E2200 at 1.5875 volts in bios, temp were in low 60's. Didn't want to go any higher because i think low 60's is ok for a 24/7 overclock.

Once your happy with the cpu overclock change the ram divider back to get as close to stock speeds as you can and run combined stress test. You can then start playing with the memory timings, divider and voltages.
