Hi guys

I recently bought a cheap overclocking setup to try out DDR2 and Intel Core2Duo setups.

CPU - E4400
Mobo - Asus P5K Vanilla
RAM - Corsair XMS2 DDR800 5-5-5-18 (1.8v)

Ive been messing about and came up with 2 OC profiles that are both stable and max i can seem to get out of what i have

My CPU seems to have a FSB wall as i cant get it to boot @ 400 FSB at all no matter the ram/volts/multi it jsut wont post @ 400 and im pretty sure this mobo will do 400+ pretty easy.

Current mobo settings are

Not bad for a £10 upgrade after i sold my old parts ;)

And regardless of settings my 3DMark scores variation is very minimal between settings

3DMark05 - 11.5k range
3DMark06 - 5.7/5.8k range

3DMark was done using a Sapphire X1950XT 512mb Stock settings

And idea's of anything i might be able to change to push a bit more out of this CPU or am i good as i am atm?

Btw CPU temp are 40 - 42 Idle and 65 - 67 100% Load using a Arctic Freezer Pro, the thing is im not sure if its seated properly as one of the brackets seems to not be as secure as the rest of them.. is this replaceable?

Cheers in advance guys

the score wont change much since the X1950XT will slow it down
