Overclocking E6300, some points please.

Ok i've had this chip for a while now, always with the intention of clocking its guts out but never got round to it. Am now shifting my pc to my brother so thought why not clock it now. I've read a lot on here about it but haven't OC'd anything in a few years and would be grateful if people would check my plans before i go ahead.

I have:
E6300 on a DS3 cooled by a Thermalright Ultra-120 and GeIL PC6400C4 RAM.


My plan is to:
Flash the BIOS,
Up FSB checking stability with Prime95,
Up volts if unstable, but keeping temps below 60 under load.


My Questions are:
What will i need to do with my RAM with regards to timings, dividers and volts. Also what should it take?
Can i jump to 400Mhz FSB Straight away then go in 10s or 20s or should i be more conservative from the outset?

Thanks for the replies guys. I've been tinkering all evening and atm i have it at 458mhz so 3.2Ghz with 1.35V. I've got the DDR2 OverVoltage set to +0.2V (Presumambly its now at 2.0V) and the G(MCH) OverVoltage at +0.1V.

Temps have been around 55C running 30mins of SP2004 in both the CPU and the memory stress tests.

This all sound ok??

Also i was thinking of running a benchmark to see if the system is performing as it should, any recommendations?
