I'm looking to overclock my E6600, stock cooling. What can I expect out of it and where do I start? I've overclocked CPU's before but I'm just wondering what voltages I should use, multiplier and FSB.

Thanks

I've got my FSB @ 300 and set FSB & RAM at a 1:1 ratio. The RAM is now running at 533mhz as opposed to 667mhz.

My CPU after overclocking now runs at 2.71Ghz. Is this faster than before, or slower?

Also I'm using Orthos to confirm my clock, how long do I need to run it for and is there anything else?

MSI Intel 975x. The RAM I couldn't tell you, it's just cheap RAM so I'm not expecting much. It's DDR2 and runs at 667 by default.

Edit: CPU-Z tells me it's PC2-5300.
