hi guys ive overclocked my core 2 duo e6600 for the first time ,im new to overclocking,my system contains of:-
core 2 duo e6600
bfg 680isli m/board
geil 2gb 800 mhz memory
ive overclocked the cpu by the frontside bus fron 1066 to 1511 multiplyed by 9 to give me 3.4 ghz ive upped the voltage from auto to 1.45 volts and altered the smartfan to go to full speed at 50 oc ,im getting idle temps of 41oc and temps of max 52 oc on full use, the system seems stable .
ive also overclocked the memory from 800mhz to 900 mhz and upped the voltage again from 1.850 to 1.975 and again seems fine on full use are my temps of 41 oc on idle and full use at 52 oc ok or would i be better off turning the fan on full at 100 % to cool them further. the voltages are within the max guidelines in the manual of my motherboard. i would appreciate any help from your guys
