Overclocking e6600

2.4ghz @ 3.6ghz, Idles 55-60c, 1.45vcore.

Windows runs, but Orthos fails within 1 min.

How do I get this overclock stable, increase vcore?

Also, set at 1.45v, but shows 1.4v, is this normal?

yeah try some more vcore. also what cooling are you using ?

That's normal, it's just a vdroop. To get 3.6 on my E6600 I'd need around 1.55V, you CPU will want a lot more juice to reach that kind of speed. Make sure the CPU doesn't go over 65c, otherwise it's no good.

Idle temps are next to useless, what are load temps? Those are quite high idles, I'd be interested as to what the loads are reaching.
