hi i am new here and i was looking for a long time for a solution to overclock my cpu witch is e3200 2.4 ghz on my motherboard esc g31t-m9 and someone told me here is the right place to ask so if any of u can help me ill really appreciate that.

BTW i checked bios and i don't really have many options related to overclocking only cpu overclocking freq witch sadly is locked. THx

+1 unfortunately

Looking at the motherboard manual there isn't anything in the way of overclocking options and even it had some then G31 chipset boards are not great for overclocking.

Personally I wouldn't suggest buying a new s775 board just so you can overclock your CPU - since you would be spending good money on a motherboard which (even if you got the best overclocking, most modern s775 board) is now two generations out of date. Instead I would suggest saving up for a new core system (CPU, motherboard, DDR3 RAM) - either an Intel Sandy Bridge or wait for the AMD Bulldozer release (which is expected in a month or two).

BTW, welcome to the OCUK forums :)
