Yes cpu z confirms 4.5ghz core speed. Whilst gaming and running unigin valley benchmark there is no improvement in performance at all.

At the end of the benchmark by the cpu model was (2999 MHz ) if that was what you were referring to. CPUZ shows 4.5ghz core speed though.
