I recently finished overclocking my 3960X to 4.7GHz at 1.36v.
It's stable when run for hours on AIDA64 with the temps not hitting 60 and I have been testing it in games for a bit now.
I played ARMA III with the GPU OC off and it ran fine for a good 2-3 hours, but then the next day when I decided to apply my GPU OC the game started crashing after about half an hour and when I restart I get the OC failed error message on startup directing me to the BIOS.
I thought that message only referred to CPU OCs, not the GPU, so am I wrong in saying this or is my GPU OC affecting the stability of my CPU?
It's worth noting the GPU OC only causes this issue in ARMA III; Shadow of Mordor, Witcher III and Total War: Rome 2 all run fine.
