overclocking first timer

hi where would i start for overclocking what are settings for a decent setup iv never done this and dont have a clue where to start the guide baffles me a bit is there a pre clocked set up i could copy

2gb crucial ballistix tracer
hyper 580w psu
bfg geforce 7800 gt
athlon 64x2 4400+

where do you go to change the settings on the cpu to overclock it

hi i loeked in the bios wow its a bit confusing is there somewhere whwere i could just copy the settings from and put them in the corresponding areas thanks chris
