Overclocking flickering 4k

With my 980 it didnt do this but windows would randomly not detect the 4k monitor which i know was a deiver issue.

These r9 290's running stock everything is fine. If i try to overclock at all when i run firestrike the 4k monitor flickers the display looses picture for maybe 2 seconds then comes back on.

Blue on light stays on and no driver issues reported.

Have read on overclock it is a driver issue apparantly.

Has anyone worked out a fix for it yet?

Got both my cards under water and would like to get all the power i can from them.
 
yes.

right just installed 14.2 omega drivers and if i leave core voltage at stock, increase power limit and core clock its fine no flickering.

If i touch voltage causes 4k to flicker. if i just use my 1080p screen not flickering whatever i do.
