My mate is running Vista ultimate 64 and is running an e6600 on an asus mobo. Unfortunately he seems to be unable to overclock from the BIOS?? Any software/Utility's available to overclock from within windows?

What motherboard do you have?

As said some mobo manufacturers provide you oc utility (eg. AI booster - ASUS or easytune - gigabyte).

If not you can always try clockgen, but they are not always uptodate in terms of mobo supports.

Ah, ok thanks.

he is currently running on an asus p5vd2--mx se, and for some reason can't change clock speed, anyone have experience with this one?
