Is there still an issue running 4 sticks of memory in a computer when you're overclocking?

When I had my Abit IC7-MAX3 and Pentium 4 3Ghz having 4 sticks populated definitely had an impact on the FSB you could go up to, even if the memory itself could support it individually.

I'm running Vista now and currently have 2 sticks of 1GB memory. I bought another 2 sticks of the same make, model and close batch - was going to install it tonight and "suck it and see", but I thought I'd see first if anyone had any first hand experience or whether there was anything I needed to change in the BIOS to support it, etc...

Well, changing no settings at all in the BIOS - Vista wouldn't boot, just locked up every time as soon (or before) the Windows logo appeared in the centre of the screen.

I downclocked to 4Ghz and it got into Vista ok - haven't stress tested it yet, but so far I'm a bit disappointed :( RAM is already running at 2.1v - don't know whether its safe to go higher.
