Spec in sig and i thoughtid try anbit of overclocking fun with one of these :

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp...C Barebones System - Intel Core 2 Duo (LGA775)

The mobo is the Asus P5GC-MX with onboard Intel GMA but in using aPCI-E 6800GT

Now i know that MATX boards like this arent renowned for thier clocking abilities but i thought id give it ago.

The only option in the BIOS for overclocking is the FSB adjustment, Memory frequency ( 200, 266, 333 ) as DDR2 PC6400 dosent seem to be offcially supported. Theres no option to up vcore or vdimm. luckily my Geil PC6400 ULL runs ok at 4-4-4-12 without needing extra volts 9 probably as it isnt running at 800Mhz, its more like 533 )

So im thinking that if this board supports up to 1333FSB cpus then it should have no issues running my chip at those speeds should it?

So i set it to 1066FSB and it worked great upping my E2180 to 2.67Ghz. It wouldnt boot at 1333FSB but that prolly as the cpu would need more volts to run at that speed.

So all in all its not bad considering its not an overclocking board
