overclocking fx 6100

can anybody give me any tips on overclocking
motherboard = asrock 970 extreme r 2.0
cpu = fx 6100
ram = 8 gig 1600MHz crucial ballistix sport
liquid cooled cpu

Simple starting point before really advanced stuff,
whack on AMD overdrive , use the autotune function , this will give you a ball park figure of what you can get out of your chip
then its a case of changing the multiplyer and changing voltages in the bios, then testing for stabilty

I'd expect between 4.2-4.5 up from 3.3 stock

Last CPU multiplier is: 20
crashed at that

6 core at 4.5 for less than £100 that's a decent boost in performance
