overclocking geil pc5300

Ive just got 1gb of geil pc5300 ram to go with an nforce 650i and an e2180.

Im just wondering whether this is OK. Would the pc6400 be better for my needs? I think I was advised to get this at some point but I ended up with the 5300 somehow. Probably being a bit tight.

Im planning a basic bit of overclocking to 2.66 Mhz

PC5300 will be fine for 2.66ghz.

Your e2180 has a x10 multiplier and so the PC5300 will stick with it to a minimum of 3.33ghz.
