Overclocking GTX770 SLI help

hi all, with all this talk about FuryX and 980Ti I feel the need to mess around with the speed of my cards.
Through afterburner one of my cards needs a +30mhz and the second card only needs +10mhz for them both to boost in game to 1267mhz

Is this the right way to look at it or should I just combine both cards and add MHz for the desired clock?

That's what I do mate, don't link, clock separately.
