yes mate, get some faster RAM (fastest you can afford within reason) - also drop the multi back to 10 before you start...the faster the FSB the faster everything works - not just the CPU.

Read the guide first tho mate, be sure to lock the AGP bus etc.

nice choices - and you could probably go for DUAL CHANNEL sticks mate - if you're going to buy new stuff

the key is to be patient and try to OC SLOWLY, 5MHz at a time, then when the PC falls over BACK OFF AT LEAST 1 STEP - MAYBE 2!?

You have to keep checking and running tests - it takes time, but it's well worth it IMHO

sorry, I must edit the guide.

when it was written the CPUs were unlocked by the N Force motherboard.

Since then (like everything else) things have moved on

The new breed of CPU cannot be unlocked so easily, I'm sorry the information is 'out of date - I will try my best to 'iron it out', if people want to email me about errors in the future PLEASE do so

Well to be honest, I've been 'out of the loop' for too long - but I'm more than happy to take suggestions for what the text should read and then make the changes...I don't mind either way, I'm just pleased so many found it useful :cool:
