had a little play around with the ati overdrive tool, the limits are pretty low so just maxed it out -

clock - 675mhz
memory - 1050mhz

passed the overdrive custom clock test, but occasionally came up with a problem and deciding to reset the settings (resolution etc) but kept it overclocked as above.

not entirely sure what it's going on about, have a accelero twin turbo and it's idling at 29c so no temp problems, do you think this might be a program error (try rivatuner instead?)

I would reset the memory back to stock and just try clocking the core incrementally at first. Start off at 650 and work up to 700.

If you don't get any problems with the above start playing with the memory - as that may be the weak 'clocking' link, if there is one.

Good luck.

id try rivatuner or tpu's new gpu tool. But the CCC centre isnt good enough for determining if the oc is stable. U need to play crysis or something like that and watch for any artifacts. GPU tool will do it for u, has the potential to be a great successor to ATI tool, although the voltage selection doesnt work for me in windows vista 64/

i use ati tray tools which is a great program. Used to use ati tool but tray tools has extra options such as the abillity to increase the voltage (and so increase the overclock). I am running mine at a solid 675/975. I have tested it at higher clcoks but prefer more stability for the sake of a few mhz. Seems to max out at about 55 degrees but its not the stock cooler.

Personally i think its a great little card and is ample for what i need at the moment although im only using a 17" tft atm. And i dont play crysis either! ;)
