Hi there

I have the following which I have overclocked:

Asus P5KC
OCZ PC2 6400 2GB
Intel E2160 1.8GHz

I've managed to get it to 3GHz on the stock voltage (9x333FSB). I cannot seem to get past 3GHz, I've tried lowering the VCORE and increasing it but no matter what I do it just will not boot.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

P.S. Does anyone know how I can unlink the memory from the CPU to make it 1:1?

I've got a load mate. C12P, U12P, Coolink Silentator, and Sunbeam Core-Contact Freezer. They are all quite similar performance, I dont think its the cooler holding me back though, the temps are v low.

Ok Core Temp reported the following:

Thanks for the help mate.

I'm going away for the weekend right after work so won't get chance to do this until Sunday evening but I'll be sure to post up. My P5KC board doesn't allow me to alter the divider - well from what I could see - it allows me to set my RAM at certain MHz though.

Installed at the moment I have a Noctua NH-U12P but I have a range of coolers I could install, to be honest though the U12P is the best out of the lot of them. (Silentator, C12P, U12P, Tuniq Core-Contact).

100% load at 3GHz with the U12P gives me around 35-38 temp.
