Hi

I seem to be a bit confused with the temps im getting, i overclocked my i7 930 to 3.8 and coretemp was hitting high 80's. on rog connect it stated my cpu was 60's. i have a haf 932 and using a cosair h50. any tips would be great

ps

was using prime95 for stress test

rog connect is just a tool to overclock using my laptop as the slave system ao i can change settings real time, just displays bios info so wouldnt that be correct? real temp gives me lower than coretemp but still not happy with it

You will only get in the 60's on the cores with custom water, or at a push really top end air cooling using really fast fans.

Are you using 1 or 2 fans on your H50? As using 2 will make a difference, especially if you use 2 good fans, over using the stock corsair one.

It is but you need to setup some pretty good fans on it (I.E not the stock one shipped with it) adding an additional fan will increase the cooling, I have a single fan and a 3.8ghz overclock and it pushes 40-45 idle (summer temps) and 60-65 under load which is okay but im getting a second fan and going to do some tweaking to my fans to get some more cool air into the case :D

cool, gonna add another 120mm fan then. ive set it to 3.2ghz at the moment running at 24 degree's on speedfan and 38 on coretemp idle, its also very warm in my room just now! all these different programs give me completly different readings
