Ok, so I'm planning a build with an i5 2500k and a z68 motherboard, pretty much perfect for overclocking. The first thing I'm wondering is if I could overclock the cpu without bringing in watercooling, for example on an aftermarket cpu cooler? Also, is it worth overclocking at this time?
I'm still pretty much planning and saving for my build, so far I've only totaled it up without a graphics card, since I'll have integrated graphics it'll let me get the rig up and running then I can save for a decent gpu.
