I am new to overclocking so few question I need to ask also read a few guides and youtube videos.

my specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor.
Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory
Heatsink: Noctua NH-U12A Chromax Black High Performance CPU Cooler - 120mm

Programs using Cinebench, CPU-Z and HWMonitor.

so my question is to get better clock speeds and temps I need to lower CPU VCORE and Boost CPU Clock Ratio correct or is there more to it?

Edit: has to be stable as well I forgot to mention that =)

there is a lot too it
whaT PSU do you have
ambient temperatures
but most important is the max voltage for the cpu, generally with ryzen from what iv been told is just leave it as it is as the cpu overclocks its self
if anything maybe infinity fabric overclock but that may be out of your scope range for now

Ideally want 3600mhz ram too

For the cpu
More than 1 way to do it
Could use PBO and set a negative offset curve manually
Or let PBO set its own curve

Or adjust PPT,EDC,TDC
Can't remember how well my 3900x overclocked
But it's not going to do much on single core
So unless you do stuff that benefits from
An all cores overclock
It may not benefit you and will add extra heat
