ZOTAC LGA 1156 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard H55ITX-A-E

I never really bothered trying to oc my systems before but as this one is getting on a bit and i would rather wait till the new haswell chip comes out before i think about upgrading

I read the mobo does have some oc capabilities but not much.
Anyone got this mobo with an i5 760 and able to help with with oc'ing please?

not sure what other information you might need to help me, but i will find it out.

Ok did some research and it seams that mobo does not Oc lynnfiled chips it was designed to Oc clarkdales

I picked up a second hand mobo GA-P55M-UDA for £35

I now have a lynnfield i5 760 with 2x4GB corsair 1333mhz ram in a corsair 500r case
OCUK V8 water-cooled CPU

I have windows installed and the cpu temps are bettween 28-30oc

As a complete Oc noob, Is that combo easily overclockable?

Should be possible, I have the same chip with a p55a-ud3 at 4GHz, how I learned to OC was by googling the chip and mobo models with the phrase "overclock".

Might have been a bit easier for myself as it was still a fairly current setup (couple of months before SB came out).

First off I'd install Prime run that for a while to see what your load temps will be.

Also there is a basic guide to OC'ing stickied at the top of this forum
Here!
It maybe a lil dated but the principles are the same.
