Overclocking i7 4790k

Hi guys,

Recently completed my build and just wanted to know if there are any up to date guides on overclocking, in particular this cpu. Im on air but id like to try push for 4.6.

Does any have some useful links etc? Any help appreciated as i dont want to bugger up the first overclock ive ever done

just a curious question

overclocking to get some practice in or to see what gains can be had?

only reason i ask is i got my 4790k just so i get an overclock of 4.4 and wont really need to go higher for the moment

I'm afraid I'm an AMD guy so the Intel chips are a little out of my knowledgebase. But I'm confident there'll be some people that come along that will be more than willing to help you out

Guide covers 4770k but basically the same and it all applies
