Overclocking in a Shuttle?

Seeing all these huge overclocks, especially from the likes of the E2140, would it be possible to overclock C2Ds on air cooling in a Shuttle? Better to go for a E6600 and overclock or something like the E2140 - taking in to account temperatures? (Which generates the most heat?)

The lack (well 1MB rather than 2MB or 4MB) of L2 cache in the E1240 and E2160 means they do run cooler clock for clock than chips of the same core (conroe). I have a shuttle and E6700 at my disposal (my fathers), but have yet to look at temperatures and/or overclocking the thing.

Might have a dabble later, and let you know.
