Overclocking in Crossfire...

Long time OcUK user and reader just never cba to post.

Going to setup a crossfire config this weekend of 2x HD4870's and a thought just went through my mind.

With crossfire the clock speeds have to be the same or have i got this slightly wrong?

Is it a simple case of overclocking each card independantly as if it was one card so they both have the overclock?

its better to have them the same speed, but if one does overclock more than the other chances are they will both run at the slower one speeds when using them in crossfire.
