I'm currently running my Q6600 @ 3.2Ghz without a problem except during a reboot. It happened twice the other day when I was mucking around in dos, I ctrl-alt-deleted to restart and after having a think it, it rebooted but with the chip running at 266x8 rather than the 400x8 which is what I have it set at. Is there any particular voltage that needs to be boosted to stop this from happening, it has never crashed in windows and is extremely solid apart from this issue. Any tips for making this stop?

hope you can help

You should have option in BIOS to save sets of settings, so if it somehows resets then just load settings 2 buttons and you're done.

No idea of how to fix it tho if it happens just while using dos. Any other info ? does it happen any other times ? or just while using dos ? and is it everytime ?

it sometimes happens from a reboot or a reset. to be honest I keep my puter on most of the time so it's not a biggie. didn't think my board had the settings save option, better go and have a look...
