Overclocking memory same time as CPU?

Hi,

Is it best to overclock the CPU first or after the memory or has it got to be done the same time? I have been trying to overclock my CPU and set my ram timings/voltage at the same time, but how do I know what is causing BSOD?

Using:
Asus V Gene Z77
2500k
HyperX gensis grey 4GBx2 1600mhz

I wouldn't do them both at once, as you won't be able to isolate the cause of crashes.

Personally I'd get a reasonable OC out of your CPU before touching the RAM.
