I've just overclocked my cpu and wondered whether it is worth overclocking my ram as well. Ram is: Geil 2GB PC6400 DDR2.

Couple of questions:
1. Does overclocking the memory actually have much effect outside of benchmarks?
2. If so what is the best way to overclock it, i.e. what things should I change? (timings, FSB etc)

Thanks for any advice.

1 - Not really

2 - You can unlink the memory on the P5N-E, so you're not tied to ratios. Try setting it to 450mhz/900mhz. Don't be messing with the timings as you'll not be able to set the mhz high enough to compensate for looser timings. If 450/950 doesn't work, then try 440/900 etc.
