Hi,

I'm fine overclocking my cpu and gpu but when it comes to memory, I see all the different timings and don't have a clue what any of them mean. I know that tighter / lower timings are better and a higher speed is better but I'm not sure what settings to really input into the bios. I have corsair vengeance ram, so I'm not sure if it's as good as the samsung green stuff but how do I go about getting a higher clock on the ram, while keeping it stable?

-Thanks.

I have that board and it does clock RAM reasonably well once you have your head around the settings!!! The Vengeance line of RAM however tends not to clock so well. The IC are binned by Corsair and as such dont do well at clocking past rated frequency and timings.

Okay, thanks for you help 8 pack. I'll try and sell these and pick up some sammy greens.

Hi again,

Well I managed to pick up some of this sammy green (8gb) on offer on the daily offer. Well i must say it is very small.

What settings do you reckon I should start with to get the best performance out of it?

-Thanks in advance

I wondered the same thing and found that someone has said
"2133MHz 9-10-10-21-1T v1.47" I will try it soon to find out
