overclocking MSI 6950..

Not sure if this should be in the OC section or Graphics card.

My MSI afterburner only allows me to hit 900mhz/1300mhz, I thought these cards overclocked loads? My temps are damn amazing under load compared to others so theres plenty of room....but im limited?

You need to edit a file in afterburner to allow you to change the cards voltage, the current limit is set I presume for the cards stock voltage, for example my stock (800/1250) 6950's will only clock to 840/1300 on stock volts.

6970 speeds is a good place to start aiming, I think the stock 6970 clocks are 880/1375

You need to use the beta version of AB to get the adjustment for your clocks and Memory.
I've unlocked my MSI 6950, tried hitting MSI 6970 Lightening speeds (940/1375) with it but I couldn't get it stable. But I'm not the greatest at GPU overclocking.
I'm currently running 890/1375 @ 1.174v with no issues.
