This is my first post here so I would like to say hi to all.
I got this 2 mobo a MSI P7N Diamond and a Gigabyte GA-MA790FX-DQ6 a while back from OCuk in their B grade sale and just got the time now to play with the MSI P7N Diamond now.I was able to o/c this board up to 3150mhz only with 1.376v Vcore.This is my max o/c with my Q6600 with this board.I cant clock it 1mhz more or it is just unstable even with 1.5v Vcore and 2.2v on RAM and 1.45 on the Nbridge.I have also updated the bios to 1.2 the latest in their site and have not played with some of the settings yet only the Vcore,RAM voltage and Nbridge voltage.The system is prime stable but is plaqued with BSOD and some corruption once in a while.I have narrowed down the BSOD to Nvidia Media shield driver though.Any suggestion on how to squeeze more mhz of this board.Im also planning on getting a 9950 for use with the GA-MA790FX-DQ6 when i got the funds.
