Overclocking my AMD 3700SD problems?

Hi I have a AMD 3700SD and when I enable dynamic overclocking to 11% with my MSI motherboard it sometimes boots and works fine but other times it just gets stuck on the windows xp loading screen I have only turned dynamic overclocking on I have not messed with cool and quiet or volts or dividers or anything any help would be great.

disable dynamic overclocking because its not as reliable as user set and tested overclocks. and read and follow the stickies on overclocking. have fun mate.

OK thanks. But would I have to turn cool and quiet off or can I leave it on and how hot should my cpu be?

When overclocking you need to disable Cool & Quiet.

A good CPU temp at 100% load is anything below 50C

This will make it very loud on the desktop is there anyway to slow down the fan without cool and quiet? Thanks

You can undervolt the fan... Or get a decent heatsink and use a slower larger fan on it

Use the speedfan software.
