How would i do this and has any 1 got any advice on what i should play with to get a decent result without destorying my CPU and motherboard

what does this mean
Reduce the multiplier and RAM divider if requried so that both are at stock speeds or slightly less.

and would i have to alter the ram?

In your bios youll have a lot of different things, go to a section with 'ht frequency' it will be 5 or 4, then crank the FSB by a 5 at a time and see if windows loads, you need to lower the HT frequency otherwise the ram overloads and goes crazy, destroying the planet and anything within a 40 million mile radius
