Right I am buying a P5Q Deluxe, I have a C2D E6300 In my current old foxconn board I've had it at 2.36 ghz maximum due to my memory it would not go any further.

In the new board I will have 4gb Kingston hyper-x 1066MHZ

So what settings and how far could I get this E6300 to? Perhaps 3.5 ghz?

Baring in mind ill be using my watercooling Kit which is the same as the corsair one for £58 but not made by corsair.

I have an E6300 and use to have 1066 memory until I decided I liked the lights on the Crucial Tracer memory.

I got it safely upto 3.6 on OCZ Gold Edition PC8500 memory. I believe you could probably do this aswell, aslong as your RAM can take it.

Hyper-X memory has rather good cooling so it shouldn't be a problem. The temperatures of the CPU when OC to 3.6GHz where around 40 degrees celcius Idle, and a maximum of 50 degrees under load, and that's good TEMPS!
Probably due to the fact the E6300 have R0 stepping, making them low wattage and easy to overclock.

I now have my CPU at 3.2GHz though, because of my 800MT/s memory, it can only go to a maximum of 930MT/s resulting in the CPU at 3.2GHz, shame... I wish I kept the OCZ Gold now.

To come to a conclusion, you should easilly be able to OC your CPU to 3.4-3.6GHz and keep both the memory and CPU stable on a 1:1 ratio.

Hope this helps, Emphacy.
