Gigabyte GA-965-p v3.3 fireware 12a
Geil 800hz ddr 2 -2gb
2xSata WD HD
E6600 2400
Antek 550w PSU
Running latest ATI drivers.
4870 ATI 1gb saphire

I have tried numerous Changes to the FSB but i cant get it to run at

333.

320 seems to bsod but it does boot
and 300 seemed ok..

i have disabled all the advance EIST etc...

My current settings are

3. In the Advanced Bios Features Menu, Disable all of the following: CPU Enhanced Halt (C1E), CPU Thermal Monitor 2(TM2), CPU EIST Function
4. In the PC Health Status menu, set the FAN Speed Control Method to "Legacy" & FAN Speed Control Mode to "PWM" to maintain highest speed
5. Go into the MB Intelligent Tweaker (MIT) menu at the bottom of the page, set the System voltage control to "Manual"
6. These boards have a default VDIMM of 1.8v, set the VDIMM to co-ordinate with your ram. The Geil I have is specced as 2.1v so I have mine set to +0.3v
7. Set the MCH Voltage to +0.1v
8. Set the FSB Voltage to +0.1v
9. Set the VCORE to 1.375v - Please be aware that this will increase temps!
10. Set the CPU Host Clock Control to "Enable"
11. Set the System Memory Multiplier to "2x"
12. You're set to go, just increase the System bus Frequency to Overclock

my Vcore i set to Auto. which then it says below grey'd out 1.325

i upped it to 1.375 for few tests but failed. im gonna try setting the ram to 5-5-5-15 and retry my @312##

also cleared out my fan and dropped my temp from 90
to 60 :)

a lot of these tests i have tried b4. but i think my CPU peekig at 98c prolly dident help. :) the dust i took of it was abot 2-3 mm thick !:)

:) ok im now at

2925@9x325 running prime 95 . hmnmm got 1 error!!
Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

getting there.

imo atm the TEMP on the cpu has made loads of diff.
